Working Out

Alright... so I know I'm chubby, and I've been gaining weight ever since I started working. I've always been a bulky person. When I was in college, I insisted that I was fat though my friends would rather describe me as "big boned" having a bigger structure. I was never really thin but my waistline was always around 27-28. Not bad, really.

Well, that is until I realized my size has exploded!!

I've never been this conscious with my weight. Normally I'm more concerned with my other features and makeup, and clothing but I guess it has taken it's toll! Hahaha! I'm at the office right now... errr...

So here's the thingy...

I've started doing Taebo workouts two days ago, and I've already committed myself into doing crunches and am actually buying a stationery bike and some weights. I've downloaded some stuff to follow from Youtube and it's actually fun. First time I tried it out was at the office in our regular weekend Taebo sessions. Wow! I suddenly feel like a health buff! I've also improved my diet about two weeks ago, though I'm not sure anything has happened yet. I'm into more fish and veggies.

Now, let's see what happens a month from now. Hopefully, my tummy gets smaller and my weight decreases!

I NEED MORE COMMITMENT MORE THAN EVER!

La Caviteña Goes to Palawan Part 2

Hey sexy ladies!

So here's part two of our Palawan Getaway! So, no - we're not thee sexy ladies. To be honest, we weren't all these big until we met up in one company and we started inflating like hot air balloons. So the small ones you see at the left are relatively new kids on the block

The morning was quite rainy so we had some breakfast first just outside Corazon Inn, the place where we stayed. Well there aren't much choices on their menu - just the usual breakfast deal of Tapa, Tocino and the like. Beside them is a restaurant, but this one's free as part of our package so we had to go by with it. It tasted normal, anyways. Heheheh...

Our trip to Honda Bay and Starfish Island

Luckily, it didn't rain! Hoooorah for the sun!

foto foto time...

My brother! I'm a star too you know!!

That evening, we hit one of the most recommended restaurants in Palawan - Kahlui

The food was nice, we had seafoods and all. However, maybe I'm just not used to their cooking I'd still prefer our style. Not that I'm saying it's bad - it's just not my type. I loved the crab though - nothing beats crab!!

This, I epically love!

The ambiance of the place was also lovely.
Dim lights and soft music - it was romantic, rather. I'd love to have a date there
One more thing is that you would have to remove your shoes or whatever footwear that you're wearing upon entering the restaurant so you'd walk on their floors barefoot. Make sure you did your nails! :)

And now, presenting the main course...

note: R-18

Please keep kid's eyes away! This is actually funny in our part, but conservative mommies won't like their kids viewing this lol

So it's a NAUGHTY DESSERT. Literally.

Kuya actually didn't say what it was and just offered a fun thing to eat. Well it would've been more fun if.... okay nevermind!

We had to eat it! ^_^
So there you go! Our third day consisted of ranting over the cancelled Underground River tour due to the weather.

Cheerios! More fotos to come when I get to go places.

I'll be posting our past Galera and Boracay trips!
I might also post our Team Building getaways.

Cheerios!

La Caviteña Goes to Palawan Part 1

So Kimi goes places...

Last September we hit Palawan! We had a really nice itinerary but unfortunately, we weren't able to go to the underground river because it rained. Anyways, it was still a blast even if we had one agenda cancelled. We could always go back some other time, right?

I would like to share some memorable stuff from Palawan!

I actually thought that I would be travelling alone since they booked my flight separately and I knew that I was on a different plane. So I had some light breakfast at the airport first.

It was a nice sight - to sit back, relax, watch the people while waiting for your flight. Hahaha I had that epic moment of "me time"! Hmm so next year, aside from my prospective trip to somewhere out there, I might consider going somewhere alone.

Then finally! I found my two other companions (that turned friends) Yna and Rhea! So us three, off we go!

Our landing in Puerto Princessa was wet! It was rainy and my skirt was literally blown up! Glad no one got to take a photo! Hahahha

Puerto Princessa City is, by far, the cleanest city that I've been to. The people are also well disciplined and helpful. Walking around the place won't really make you feel like a total stranger.

Now we dropped by several places including some spots outside Puerto Princessa.

Here are some crocosaurus galore!

Crocodile Farm babies :)

I need to capture my moments here, too you know!

Of course, you will have to get a taste of the Baker's Hill goodness!!
So apparently some of us went on a panic buying spree and bought tons of Baker's Hill baked goodies on the first day! Which was highly funny cuz imagine we had to bring that all home!.

Lonely and relaxing. Oh time for MOI!
This dog, whose name I don't know, is one of the sweetest and friendliest dogs ever!

Jump Shot landing hahahah! Thanks Kuya for the pic!

As the night fell, we went to one of the bars that our Tour Guide recommended. Well, it was called "Tiki Bar" for the reason you should find out yourself. She advised us to go to the CR (powder room, toilet, whatever you wanna call it). Honestly, I really didn't figure it out that much cuz I was so dead drunk when I hit that area. Silly me!

Weng Weng - it's actually supposed to taste good but this version actually tasted like strawberry cough syrup - and I ordered two pitchers! Ugh! Oh well, lesson learned.

Don't ask what else happened :) I barely remember!

We were already pumped up on Day 1!

This entry has become too long I'll go and post another one
